FAQ
Description of the programme
We study the entire Bible in one year, aiming not only to read it, but also to learn about each book in detail, and to explore its background: What, Where, Why, Who, When and How. There is no emphasis on denominational or doctrinal interpretations. Its sole objective is to study the Word of God, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Financial aspects
This programme has no tuition cost. Every participant is expected to buy the required textbook and to bring it to class, along with the Holy Bible. Coffee breaks are offered complementary but any other meal during the Saturday classes will be the responsibility of the participant.
Methodology
This programme is taught face-to-face and virtually, with video-based lectures by respected Bible scholars based in the United Kingdom and Switzerland. A facilitator-led discussion at the end of every class will enhance the learning experience. The programme requires participants to read the relevant part of the Bible during the week after each class. The entire curriculum will be delivered in English.
Learning Materials
All lectures and discussion will be based on the New King James version of the Bible. The required textbook will be Unlocking the Bible. Each class includes a video by Rev. David Pawson on the specific book or chapters of the Bible assigned for that week.
Format and timeframe
Saturday classes will be hosted in person at a location to be announced, or via Zoom. The programme duration is 40 weeks over 10 months, with a one-month interruption around Christmas. The graduation will be celebrated God willing on July. Dates are subject to change.
